STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A South Beach woman’s motive seemed innocent enough Wednesday when she followed a counselor outside during a break in a therapeutic counseling session.
April Steward bummed a cigarette from the man, said a law enforcement source.
Ms. Steward, aided by an accomplice, then punched and mugged the man outside the Arthur Avenue facility, said court papers.
